8 Mango dessert recipes to try this summer

The king of fruits Mango is available during the months of April to June. This is summer time and people are loved to consume summer fruit mango as a Mango dessert. Wondering how to prepare Mango dessert? Here is the list of all the simple, delicious mango dessert recipes to try and cook for your loved ones.

Mango Dessert:

1/ Mango Ice-cream

Ingredients: 1 cup Ripe Mango puree, 2cup Cream, and ½ cup Powdered Sugar.

Instruction: To prepare mango puree, blend the mango pulp with the help of mixture or hand blender to smooth texture without adding water. In a large bowl take Amul chilled cream and whip the cream with the help of an electric beater. Whip the cream until smooth. Add sugar powder in it and whisk it again perfectly. Now add mango puree and beat till the puree mix with cream well. Transfer the prepared mixture into the freezing tray, covered with aluminum foil, and freeze till it set nicely. Now Dip the ice cream scooper in hot water and garnish the scoop mango ice-cream with some fresh mango pulp.

2/ Mango milkshake

Ingredients: 1 cup of frozen mango cubes, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream, ½ cup chilled milk, 2 spoon chopped nuts and some crushed ice cubes

Instructions: To begin, take all the ingredients (frozen mango, vanilla ice cream, milk, sugar, crushed ice cubes, and nuts) in a blender and blend in to smooth paste. Adjust adding ingredients as per your requirement. If you like thin shake then add some more milk to make it thin while grinding. You can also use some fresh cream instead of ice-cream. Pour it in a glass and topped with some fresh nuts or a scoop of ice-cream, whatever you prefer.

3/ Eggless Mango pudding

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. chopped Agar-Agar, 1 cup milk, 1tbsp. Custard powder, 2 cup Mango puree, 3tbsp. Sugar and 1 cup of water

Instructions: Heat water in a Saucepan. Add agar and stir until dissolved completely. On another side heat a pan and add milk to boil add custard powder with sugar and stir well. Turn of the flame, Keep aside. Now take a bowl to add mango puree, custard milk and melted agar, mix gently. Pour the mixture into small glasses, wrap with aluminum foil and refrigerate 2hr. or until set.

4/ Mango Cheese Roll

Ingredients: 1 big size Ripe Mango, ½ cup cottage cheese or grated Paneer, 2 tbsp. Powdered Sugar, ½ tbsp. Cardamom Powder

Instruction: In a bowl add grated paneer, cardamom powder along with sugar powder, and mix well with a spoon. Make a smooth mixture. Peel the skin of ripe mango and cut the mango into thin slices. Take one slice mango and place the spoonful of paneer mixture at one end or corner of the slice. Roll the slice carefully into a cylindrical shape and sealed the end with the help of a toothpick. Follow the same procedure for remaining slices. Garnish the mango cheese roll with some red rose petals and enjoy!

5/ Mango Kulfi

Ingredients: 1 cup fresh mango pulp, 3-4 saffron strands, 1 tbsp. Corn flour, 4 cups full-fat milk, 5 tbsp sugar, ½ tbsp. Cardamom powder

Instructions: Boil the milk in a deep non-stick pan on a medium flame for 10 mins. Mix the cornflour with a spoonful of water and add it to the milk along with sugar and condensed milk. Mix well and cook on a slow flame for 20mins. Keep stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool completely. Once cool, add the mango puree, cardamom powder, saffron milk and whisk it gently. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds; Insert a wooden skewer or stick and freeze overnights until the kulfi is set. To remove the kulfi from the molds, immerse the molds in warm water for a few seconds. Gently loosen and remove the mango kulfi and serve immediately.

6/ Mango Jelly or Candy

Ingredients: 2 ripe mangoes (1 large cup puree), 5 tbsp. Sugar, ½ tbsp. Gelatin, 1 tbsp. Lemon juice, water 2 cup

Mango Jelly

Instructions: Take gelatin in a bowl and soak with ½ cup of water for 10mins. In a deep pan add water with sugar and heat until sugar completely dissolved. Add gelatin to the pan and stir well. Allow gelatin to dissolve completely. Now add mango puree and mix evenly. Let them cook for 10 mins and keep stirring. Add lemon juice for flavor, whisk well. Transfer the mixture into a silicone mold (it is easily available in the market or you can order it from online on amazon or flip kart) and chill for few hours. Time to unmold and serve!

7/ Mango Panna Cotta

Ingredients: For the Panna Cotta: 1 cup heavy cream (chilled), ½ cup boiled Milk, 4 tbsp. Sugar, 1 packet liquid Gelatin For the Mango Sauce: 1 ½ cup frozen mango pulp, 1 tbsp. Sugar, ½ tbsp. Lemon juice

Instructions: In a saucepan, pour milk, cream, and sugar, mix it well. Now turn on the heat and stir until the sugar dissolved completely. Keep the flame simmer. It takes only 5mins! After that turn off the heat, mix the gelatin nicely, and set aside to cool in room temperature. Pour the mixture into small glasses, you can tilt the glasses to have unique patterns and leave space for mango sauce. Refrigerate it for 1-2 hours. For the mango sauce grind frozen mango pulp along with lemon juice and sugar until smooth. Add little water if needed. Pour this over the set panna cotta and freeze it again for 1 hr. Serve Mango Panna Cotta and enjoy it!

8/ Mango Shrikhand (Amrakhand)

Ingredients: 4 cups thick curd (Yogurt), 2 cup Mango puree (without adding water), 2tbsp. Cardamom Powder, 1 pinch Saffron Strands, ½ Cup Sugar (as required)

Instructions: Take a muslin cheesecloth, pour the curd, and hang it 2-3 hours on support to drain the excess water from the curd. In a big bowl add the thick curd, cardamom powder, saffron milk, and sugar; blend it with a hand blender till smooth. Now add mango puree and blend it again till it smooth and creamy. Serve chilled Mango Shrikhand in the individual bowl with garnishing chopped nuts.
