Chicken Sizzler – It’s not just tasty but it is a healthy source of protein with low calories. Sizzler is a roasted or fried piece of non-veg or veggies, served with salads, slices of bread, French fries and rice on a metal or wooden plate to keep it warm. To make a sizzler plate, apply oil on an iron plate and heated strongly which keeps the food warm for a long time. Brush a mixture of oil and water on the base of the wooden plate and cast iron plate on it which makes the sizzler sound. Well, Chicken Sizzler is a tasty, saucy and delicious craving dish that you can make in-home for any dinner parties.
Ingredients of Chicken Sizzlers
- 2 tbsp. soya sauce
- 1/2 tbsp. pepper powder
- 2 tbsp. Schezwan Sauce
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- salt to taste
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp. Butter
- 1 sliced Tomato
- 1/2 cup sliced Yellow and Green Pepper
- 1 boiled Cabbage leave (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp. Chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 6-8 chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp. chopped Ginger
- 2 chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. chopped Green Chilies
- 1 tbsp. Pepper Powder
- 2 tbsp. Tomato Sauce
- 1 tbsp. Soya sauce
- 1 tbsp. Chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp. Schezwan Sauce
- 1 cup water (as per required)
Chicken Sizzler making Procedure:
Wash boneless chicken breast pieces, and cut thick and all equal sizes. Marinate with soya sauce, Vinegar, Schezwan sauce, pepper powder, and salt to taste for 2 hours and so.
Fried Chicken for sizzler
After marinating chicken, heat a non-stick pan and add 2 tbsp. of oil. Add chicken pieces to it over high heated. Stir and fry the chicken pieces until it is brown on both sides and transfer it to another plate.
Sizzler Chicken Sauce
Add butter to the non-stick pan and keep the flame high. After melting butter add finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilies, fry for minutes. Add chopped onion and fry 2 minutes.
Now add vinegar, sliced yellow pepper, chopped tomatoes, pepper powder, soya sauce, Tomato Sauce, Chilli sauce, Schezwan Sauce, add water as required and saute for 5-10 minutes with medium flame.
Serving on a sizzling plate
Before serving the chicken, Heat the iron plate perfectly and place it on the wooden plate carefully. Place some boiled cabbage leave and brush with butter. Place fried chicken pieces on the top of cabbage leaves and pour the hot sauce on chicken. Garnish with sliced tomatoes, yellow-green peppers, and chopped coriander leave, you can also use cheese slices instead of veggies. Sprinkle few drops of cold water on the hot plate to sizzle and enjoy the fresh sizzling chicken hot and spicy.
